This website is operated by Refrigerant Centers through refrigerantcenters.com using WordPress and WooCommerce. In these Terms of Service, “Refrigerant Centers,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Refrigerant Centers.
These Terms govern access to and use of our website, online store, products, content, customer support, accounts, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility and authority
You must have reached the age of majority where you live and be legally capable of entering a binding agreement. If you act for a company, employer, organization, or another person, you represent that you have authority to bind that party.
2. Regulated refrigerant products
Certain products sold by Refrigerant Centers are regulated refrigerants. Federal, state, local, carrier, safety, and environmental rules may govern their purchase, sale, possession, transportation, use, recovery, resale, and disposal.
When required by law, refrigerant may be purchased only by a properly certified technician, an employer or authorized representative providing acceptable certification and employment documentation, a qualified wholesaler or reseller, or another purchaser who qualifies under an applicable exception. Section 608 certification generally applies to stationary refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment; Section 609 generally applies to motor-vehicle air conditioning. A certification for one category does not necessarily authorize purchases for another.
You agree to provide accurate and authentic certification, employment, authorization, business, or resale documents when requested; use regulated products lawfully; follow product labels, Safety Data Sheets, manufacturer instructions, and applicable requirements; and never unlawfully vent, transport, handle, or dispose of refrigerant.
We may verify documentation, keep legally required transaction records, place an order on hold, limit quantity, cancel an order, or refuse service if eligibility cannot be verified or a transaction may violate applicable requirements.
3. Product selection and compatibility
You are responsible for confirming the refrigerant type, cylinder size, valve or connection, intended application, equipment, lubricant, and other specifications before ordering. Website information and customer support are general information, not a substitute for manufacturer documentation, the Safety Data Sheet, applicable codes, or advice from a qualified HVAC or automotive professional.
Do not mix refrigerants or substitute a refrigerant without appropriate technical evaluation and authorization. Contact support@refrigerantcenters.com before ordering if you are uncertain.
4. Accounts and information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete account, billing, shipping, certification, and order information. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and activity through your account. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. We may suspend or close accounts associated with false information, unauthorized use, fraud, security risk, or violations of these Terms.
5. Orders and acceptance
An order is an offer to purchase. An automated confirmation means only that we received it, not that it has been accepted. We may review, hold, limit, reject, or cancel an order for purchase-eligibility requirements, inventory or pricing errors, payment or fraud concerns, quantity limits, unusual activity, shipping restrictions, or suspected legal or policy violations.
If we cancel after collecting payment, we will void the authorization or issue an appropriate refund to the original method, subject to payment-provider processing times.
6. Prices, promotions, taxes, and payment
Prices, promotions, availability, and product information may change without notice. The amount displayed at checkout applies subject to correction of obvious errors. Promotions may have separate eligibility, quantity, expiration, and combination rules.
Applicable taxes, shipping, handling, and other required charges are displayed or calculated at checkout. You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the submitted method and represent that you are authorized to use it. Additional identity, address, payment, or fraud verification may be required.
7. Shipping and delivery
Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy, incorporated into these Terms. Delivery times are estimates. Carrier capacity, hazardous-material requirements, weather, holidays, address problems, remote service, regulatory review, and events outside our reasonable control may cause delay.
You are responsible for an accurate eligible address, access for delivery, an authorized recipient when required, and prompt inspection after delivery.
8. Returns, refunds, and cancellations
Returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, incorporated into these Terms. Refrigerant cylinders must not be returned, redirected, refused, or shipped back without prior written authorization and approved carrier instructions. Cancellation is not guaranteed after processing begins.
9. Product safety
Refrigerants and pressurized cylinders can present serious hazards if mishandled. Inspect the cylinder, valve, seal, label, and packaging before use. Do not use, connect, transport, or repair a product that appears damaged, leaking, altered, or unsafe.
Store and secure cylinders in accordance with product instructions and applicable law, away from heat, flame, sparks, physical damage, and direct sunlight. Use appropriate service, recovery, charging, leak-detection, and personal protective equipment. Only trained and legally qualified persons may install, recover, service, or charge refrigerant when required.
If a product leaks or presents immediate danger, leave the area, avoid ignition sources, and follow the Safety Data Sheet and directions from emergency responders or local authorities.
10. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Services to engage in unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or unauthorized conduct; unlawfully purchase, possess, transport, resell, use, vent, recover, or dispose of regulated products; submit false certifications or claims; infringe legal rights; distribute malware or spam; scrape or exploit the Services without authorization; bypass technical, security, eligibility, geographic, or quantity restrictions; use an unauthorized payment method; or initiate a knowingly false chargeback or delivery claim.
11. Intellectual property
The Services and their text, graphics, logos, photographs, product presentations, layouts, designs, software, video, and other materials are owned by Refrigerant Centers or used with permission and are protected by applicable law. We grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal or internal business purchasing. No other license is granted.
12. Reviews and submissions
When you submit reviews, photographs, feedback, questions, or other content, you represent that you have the right to provide it, that it is lawful and accurate where applicable, and that it does not contain malicious code or unauthorized personal information. You grant Refrigerant Centers a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, format, publish, display, distribute, and use that content in connection with the Services, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
13. Third-party services
The Services use WordPress, WooCommerce, and may use independent payment processors, carriers, analytics providers, communications services, fraud-prevention tools, applications, and technology providers. We do not control their separate content, availability, security, policies, or conduct. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply.
14. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Information may be processed by service providers reasonably needed to operate the store, process payment, prevent fraud, fulfill orders, communicate, and provide support.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services and website content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, that all content will always be complete or current, that every product will suit every application, or that estimated processing and delivery dates will be met. Product warranties are limited to those expressly supplied with a product or required by law. Nothing excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Refrigerant Centers and its owners, personnel, affiliates, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss, including lost profits, business interruption, equipment downtime, labor expenses, refrigerant recovery or replacement costs, substitute purchases, or damage caused by improper selection, installation, handling, storage, mixing, recovery, or use.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from a particular order will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited.
17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Refrigerant Centers and its owners, personnel, affiliates, contractors, service providers, and representatives from claims, liabilities, losses, penalties, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use, violation of these Terms, false or unauthorized submissions, improper product handling or use, infringement of another person’s rights, or violation of safety, environmental, transportation, or refrigerant rules.
18. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access, close an account, cancel an order, restrict purchasing, or refuse future service to address fraud, payment risk, safety, legal requirements, security, eligibility concerns, abuse, false information, or policy violations. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.
19. Changes to the Services or Terms
We may update the Services and these Terms. Updated Terms will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law. We will provide additional notice when required.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable United States law and the law applicable to Refrigerant Centers and the relevant transaction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
Before filing a formal claim, please email us with your name, order number, a description of the issue, supporting documents or tracking information, and the resolution requested. Both parties agree to make a reasonable attempt to resolve the matter informally first.
21. General provisions
If a provision is unlawful or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without written consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, asset transfer, or similar transaction. These Terms and incorporated policies form the entire agreement regarding the Services.
