Not a Drop-In Replacement for R410A
Although R-454B is used in some newer HVAC equipment as the industry transitions away from higher-GWP refrigerants, it must not be placed into an R-410A system unless the equipment manufacturer has specifically approved and engineered the system for that refrigerant. Always verify the nameplate, charge, lubricant, components, controls, and service documentation.
